This review is so overdue — we’ve been married for 1.5 years now, and I honestly can’t believe we’re only writing this now (so sorry, Hui Lin!). Life got busy, but we’ve never stopped talking about how incredible she was on our big day.
From the very beginning, she made us feel so supported and at ease. She took the time to get to know us, listened to what mattered most, and crafted a ceremony that was heartfelt, genuine, and truly reflected us as a couple. She even wore the same colour as our wedding theme — such a thoughtful touch that meant so much!
We had guests from Hong Kong and Malaysia, and she absolutely nailed the ceremony in both English and Cantonese. It meant so much to us and our families to have everyone included and connected in the moment. And because of her, my mum, who only speaks Cantonese, was able to be one of our official witness. That moment alone meant everything!
She handled everything so smoothly that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. And she brought the vibe — making everyone laugh, keeping the energy joyful, and lighting up the ceremony with her warm and engaging presence. We didn’t expect to be so entertained, but she had the crowd hooked from start to finish.
Honestly, our only regret is not having her as our MC — she would’ve been phenomenal!
We also received so many compliments from our guests saying how amazing she was — they loved her just as much as we did.

Lin was not just funny, engaging but super professional with her service. I approached Lin 6 months ago when I was planning for my wedding and every step of the way she made the journey stress-free and super clear and precise.
She was there for our tea ceremony, ceremony and MC for the reception. Her talent in not just her multilingual skills but the fact that she could get all the guest engaged and everyone had lot of fun😁😁😁

Hui Ling is absolutely incredible, she was my Tea Ceremony Officiant, celebrant and MC for my reception. She is the best bilingual celebrant I had ever met in Perth (Different type of Chinese & English). She was so professional, so much talent and experience at what she does. Because of her, both my family from overseas can enjoy our Tea ceremony, ceremony and reception without any language barrier. She knows Chinese culture well so our tea ceremony went through very smoothly and was memorable. She captured our love story and created such a positive and heartwarming vibe throughout our ceremony. Hui Ling is a very flexible and friendly MC, definitely making your special day more fun and memorable.

Lin was absolutely AMAZING, I can not speak more highly of her services, we had her as our celebrant and emcee for the wedding reception. She was instrumental to the wonderful evening that was created, many guests can't stop raving about how great she was, here's a just a few great things of Lin,
- brilliant communication and proactiveness leading up the the final day
- great collaboration with the photographer and our dj to create timely and magical moments
- multilingual and a deep cultural understanding of the English and Chinese background to foster great humour in both cultures
- very respectful and aware of cultural formalities to allow elders to be at ease
- quick thinking and adaptable, adjusting the schedule wherever needed as well adding in different ways to engage with guests

Lin was so amazing on our wedding day, and was key in making the ceremony such a big success. So many of our guests told us that the celebrant was incredible! Her language skills are amazing and we were all incredibly impressed by her Cantonese. For us, it wasn't just how Lin spoke to the guests, it was also how she guided us through the journey. She was kind and thoughtful with her suggestions and was very knowledgable and experienced. There was also no sense of judgement, even when we asked silly questions. It all the little things too, like indulging our grandparents that made the day extra special for us. She gave us a beautiful memory of the day, thanks so much Lin!
