It’s one of the most common questions couples ask me—“Do we really need to do a rehearsal?”
The short answer is: you don’t have to, but it can make a huge difference—especially if you’re the type of person who likes to feel prepared, calm, and confident walking into your big day.
A wedding rehearsal is a walk-through of your ceremony, usually held at the venue a few days before the actual wedding. It gives everyone involved—bride, groom, wedding party, parents—a chance to know where to stand, when to walk, and what’s going to happen.
We’ll go through:
The full ceremony flow from start to finish
How you and your bridal party will enter and exit
Timing for music and cues
Who holds what, where, and when (like vows, rings, microphones)
It’s like a gentle dress rehearsal—with no pressure!
Some couples book a rehearsal on a different day to their wedding—especially if they want the extra peace of mind or are getting married at a large or logistically complex venue.
I offer rehearsals as a standalone service, but many couples find it’s better value to upgrade to my Premium Personalised Ceremony Package, which includes a rehearsal as part of the package.
